Chord Overstreet is the latest actor to land a recurring role on the highly popular US tv series Glee. Producers of the Emmy-nominated musical-comedy announced the news during the Comic-Con Convention in San Diego Monday.
Chord, will be playing the role of Sam, a McKinley high school athlete who starts off as Finn (Cory Monteith)’s protégé but becomes his competition.
He has appeared on the hit Nickelodeon series “iCarly” and is featured in the pilot of ABC’s “No Ordinary Family”.
Chord will appear in Glee’s second season premiere episode, airing Tuesday, September 21.
Other new faces in Glee second season include our very ow Charice and General Hospital‘s John Stamos.
