We learned a lot this week from Lady Gaga's massive Vanity Fair spread and cover story. We learned that she keeps her creativity in -- where else? -- her vagina. That she does drugs a couple times a year. And that she was drunk at "that baseball game."
Lady Gaga, who just nabbed a record-breaking 13 MTV VMA nominations, also discusses the nadir of her drug use and her decision not to go to rehab but instead to go to her grandmother's house in West Virginia. Woah. That's a lot to drop on a reader in one article in a magazine that hasn't even hit stands yet. And in all of those revelations, have we forgotten about one of our favorite things about Lady Gaga ... the fashion?
Sure, Lady Gaga is naked as a baby -- a baby in a gray wig and a diamond Fred Leighton choker -- on the cover of "Vanity Fair." But inside the magazine's pages are a few high-fashion, highly artistic photos of Gaga not just topless, but draped in copious amounts of willowy, billowing Alexander McQueen gowns, a sparkling black bodysuit by Somarta, a custom-made Armani Privé clear dress and black heels, and her now-signature black Noritaka Tatehana reverse 9-inch-high platform heels.
