Kelly Clarkson will Soon Back in Music World

Two years after releasing fourth studio album "All I Ever Wanted," Kelly Clarkson will come back with a new full-length, "Stronger," on Oct. 25.

The previous "American Idol" winner also announced that the album's first single, "Mr. Know It All," will debut during a live webcast on her official website on Aug. 30. The track will hit radio directly after the webcast, and will be offered at all digital retailers on Sept. 5.

Clarkson's fifth album has been the victim of multiple delays: in March, the pop star told fans that the record was done, but wouldn't be released until September. "I realize that is a long time but that's the best time to release it apparently so I'm sorry for the wait but I promise you it sounds great!" she wrote. A new single was then expected to be released in July, but a handful of leaked demos, including the seething "Let Me Down," was the only new music that hit the Web last month.

“Mr. Know It All" follows a slew of hits from "All I Ever Wanted," including "My Life Would Suck Without You," "I Do Not Hook Up" and "Already Gone." Since releasing her first album, "Thankful," in 2003, Clarkson has sold 10.7 million albums in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan; the singer is second only to Carrie Underwood (12.4 million) in sales among "American Idol" acts.
