Superkendi, from the sweet treat “Candy”, is a 5-member band of Young, Energetic & Bubbly performers from Sampaloc, Manila. The name itself plus the band’s total packaging is an assorted taste of musical experience, a mix of Pinoy Novelty & Pop Rock, infused in the back bone genre - SKA. Their mix of comedic performance & fresh rendition of not only their original compositions but also their cover of Beatles, Manila Sounds, 80’s and new wave music boils down to the birth and evolution of a new sound of pop – POP-SKA! .
