Katy Perry won her first two VMA Moonman trophies for Best Video of the Year and Best Collaboration for her single “E.T.” featuring Kanye West.
Perry’s music video for “E.T.” also won Best Special Effects.
The “Fireworks” singer led nominations with a total of nine, followed by Adele and Kanye West with seven nods each.
Other big winner of the night was Lady Gaga for winning Best Female Video and Best Video with a Message for “Born this Way.”
