Flo-Rida (pronounced flow-ri-duh, the African-American Vernacular English pronunciation of "flow rider") (born December 16, 1979 as Tremar Dillard in Opa-Locka, Florida) is an African American rapper.
He is currently signed to Poe Boy Entertainment as of 2007. He made his mainstream debut in the song "Bitch I'm From Dade County" on DJ Khaled's album We the Best. He started appearing in mixtapes in 2006, and began affiliating himself with other known Florida rappers such as Rick Ross and Trick Daddy.
Since We the Best, Flo Rida has released a street single entitled Birthday, featuring Rick Ross. He has now released a club based single entitled Low featuring T-Pain which is currently the most downloaded song on iTunes.
