He underwent extensive Muay Thai training to successfully breathe life into the character.
In an interview he stated, “I am very aware sa contributions ni Sir Ramon Revilla Sr. sa local movies, na up until now, pinahalagahan pa rin ng marami.” He also stated, “Just being a part of this makes me proud and happy.”
Under the direction of Dondon Santos, the tale of Elias Paniki revolves around Elias who, after being trained by Victor, a soldier, is given the “bertud ng paniki”. With its extraordinary powers, he uses the amulet to fight off the mangkukulam which is feared to have returned. Thus, his journey as Elias Paniki begins.
