Looks like Adele's new album won't be released in 2014 after all. Talk about suspense!
According to Billboard, it was announced by Adele's label, XL Recordings that, "There will not be a further new release by Adele during 2014 and consequently there will be a fall in XL's turnover and profits."
It's been two years since Adele released her latest single, "Skyfall," the official theme song to the James Bond movie with the same title. The tables are definitely turning now! With no new tracks present, it will be hard to fill in the gaps, especially with the huge succes from her previous, chart-topping singles like "Someone Like You," "Set Fire To The Rain" and "Rolling In The Deep" - all from her album, 21.
With a talent like Adele's, success just follows through. But let's hope her and her label doesn't keep us hanging on a thread for too long!
