Martin Nievera is taking on something new for his upcoming album!
3 decades in the music industry, Martin Nievera admits that he's still hungry and thirsty to do more of what he loves to do – making music.
The Concert King is set to release a brand new album that will pay tribute to the big bands of yesteryears.
Titled "Big Mouth, Big Band," Martin gives a brand new flavor to the classic hits such as Earth, Wind & Fire's "Sing A Song," Every Now And Then," Chicago's "Will You Still Love Me," Queen's "Love Of My Life," Simply Red's "Stars," among others.
This is actually the first time that Martin will be in a band in his 30-year career saying, "This album is like a fantasy album to me, I've always wanted to be part of a band."
Martin also said that he is very proud of this new album. "We went back a notch and decided to do something the way they did back in the day where you just go to the studio with your band."
For this "fantasy album," as Martin describes it, he collaborated with musical director Marvin Querido and some of today's best musicians as they come up with a different take on Martin's music.
"Big Mouth, Big Band" under PolyEast Records will be available at all leading record bars nationwide SOON!
