Taylor Swift's 'Shake It Off' Holds At No. 1 on ATunes Hot 100

The Fearless Woman Taylor Swift "Shake It Off" is a song by American recording artist Taylor Swift for her upcoming fifth studio album, 1989. Written by Swift, Max Martin and Shellback, the single, a departure from her signature country pop musical style, is an uptempo pop track instrumented by trombone. The song premiered during a Yahoo! live stream session on August 18, 2014; its music video was also released the same day. Several hours later, "Shake It Off" was made available for digital download as the lead single from 1989.

"Shake It Off" received mostly positive reviews from music critics, who praised its musical style. Meanwhile, the music video received mixed reception, and was additionally criticized for a scene which involved twerking. "Shake It Off" debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the week ending September 6, 2014, becoming Swift's second number one single in the United States and the 22nd song to debut at number one in the chart's history.

Taylor debut her music at No. 21 last August 24, 2014 from No. 21 - No. 16 and became the No. 2 - No. 1. Taylor Swift earns flat 4.00 % rating while Sarah G. Kilometro from No.1 - No.2 spot. As Sarah G. last week issue earns the highest vote in chart. 

1989 is the upcoming fifth studio album by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, scheduled to be released on October 27, 2014 by Big Machine Records. Swift began planning her follow-up project in 2013 and continued work into 2014, during which time Swift collaborated with producers including Max Martin and Shellback. Their efforts resulted in her "first documented, official pop album", which represents a musical departure from the country pop styles in her earlier work. The album's title is the year Swift was born.

"Shake It Off" was serviced as the lead single from 1989 on August 18, 2014. It debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, becoming Swift's second number-one single in the country and the twenty-second track to debut in the peak position in Billboard history.

A day following its impact on US radio stations, "Shake It Off" gained an audience of nine million. The song debuted at 45 on the Billboard Radio Songs chart with 29 million in all-format audience. It debuted on the Mainstream Top 40 chart at number 12, tying it with Mariah Carey's "Dreamlover" (1993) as the highest chart debut.[19] The single debuted at number nine on the Billboard Adult Top 40 chart, becoming the highest debut single on the chart. On its sixth week, the song became her second No. 1 on the Adult Top 40 chart since her 2013 hit "I Knew You Were Trouble", tying it with Celine Dion's "Because You Loved Me" (1996) as the fastest song to reached No. 1 in just six weeks.

On the US Billboard Hot 100, the single debuted atop the chart making the 22nd song to debut on number one with first week digital sales of 544,000 units for the chart issue dated September 6, 2014. The track became the largest debut sales week for a single of 2014, and the fourth overall, following Flo Rida' "Right Round", Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and Katy Perry's "Roar". During that week, "Shake It Off" additionally garnered 18.4 million streams and 71 million airplay audiences. The song remained at number one for the second week selling 355,000 copies. As of October 2014 the song crossed the two million sales mark with a total of 2,007,000 copies. and received a platinum certification from RIAA.

"Shake It Off" became Swift's third number one in Canada selling 48,000 copies in its first week, following "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", after debuting at number one; it is her third song to do so, tying her with Eminem and Katy Perry for multiple songs to debut at number one. "Shake It Off" gave Swift's sixth top ten hit in the United Kingdom when it debuted at number four on the UK Singles Chart. In Ireland, the song jumped at number three on its second week after debuting at number fourteen, became Swift's fifth top ten.

In Australia, it debuted at number five on the Australian Singles Chart, the highest debut of the week, and on its second week it rose to the number-one spot, making it Swift's second single to top the chart after her 2009 hit "Love Story". "Shake It Off" spent a third week at No. 1 on the Australian Singles Chart making Swift's longest run on Australia since "Love Story". The single has been certified 2× Platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) for shipments of over 140,000 copies. In New Zealand, it debuted at number two, the highest debut of the week, and on its second week it rose to the number-one spot, making it Swift's second single to top the chart after her 2012 hit "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together". On its fifth week "Shake It Off" spent two non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the New Zealand Singles Chart making Swift's longest run on New Zealand since "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together".
